Free, and open to anyone

Send in your track.

Two versions of one song and a few honest sentences about how it got made. That is the whole entry. You get a page of your own, a place on the chart ranked by blind ears, and a shot at the pressing. It costs nothing, and it stays that way.

What you need before you start

  • The early version. The voice memo, the rough bounce, the first sketch. Whatever came before the finished thing.
  • The finished version. What you would actually release.
  • A link to both. Put the two files in one shared folder and paste the link. Check it opens without asking us for permission.

The two do not have to line up neatly. Different tempo, rewritten arrangement, a whole new second half: all of it is fine and all of it is interesting. We play both and mark what we can measure.

We send one confirmation here. You have to click it before your track reaches us.

However you want to be credited on the page.

Optional. Untitled is a real answer.

A share link holding two files: the early version and the finished one. Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, iCloud, Box, SoundCloud, anything with a public link. Do not upload them here, and make sure the link does not need a permission request.

The part that matters. What you started with, what you played, what a tool did, what you kept and threw away. Plain language beats a spec sheet. This goes on your page in your own words.

Optional, and naming them costs you nothing here. Any tool or none competes on the same chart. Example: Suno 5.5, Logic, an SM7B.

Free. Nothing public without your say-so.

What happens next

You get one email to confirm the address. Click it and your track reaches us; ignore it and nothing happens at all. After that a person listens, and if it is a fit we build your page and send it to you. You see it before anybody else does, and it only goes public when you say so.

We do not pass your files to anyone, we do not train anything on them, and we do not publish a note of this without your approval. If you change your mind at any point, write to hello@soundlouder.com and it is gone.
